Review: Tarte Tres Chic Park Ave Princess Contour Palette

I'm not sure if this is limited edition or if Tarte is going to make this part of their permanent collection. I've been seeing this on sale at both Ulta and Sephora... which hints to limited edition, yet I've seen this in stock pretty regularly. I would say if you're interested in this and if the price is right, go for it! Now is the time!

Tarte - Tres Chic Park Ave Princess Contour Palette $34
This is a great everyday palette. I was a little skeptical at first because of how lightly everything swatched on my hand. But once I actually applied the products to my face my opinion changed. The colors are very wearable and natural. The bronzer isn't too dark and can be built up easily.  The highlight isn't too obnoxious. It has just they right amount of shimmer for us oily folk. Unfortunately, I don't see this palette working well for all skin tones. For the winter this is an excellent palette for myself. But come summer, I'm not sure how well these shades will perform (for reference I'm light-medium and I tan super easy). That's probably the biggest draw back about this pallette.

The packaging is beautiful and functional. It's a hard plastic casing with a lovely gold overlay. It's nice having all 3 face products in one travel friendly palette. I got this at Sephora with a VIB coupon they sent out in early December, so I didn't pay full price for it. I'm not since if $34 is justifiable, unless you're using this very often. Having the coupon definitely heavily influenced my purchase.

The colors that are included (swatches below):
  • Park Ave Princess (Matte Bronzer)
  • Posh (Matte Pale Pink Blush)
  • Champagne Gold (Highlighter)

Thank for looking/reading~
